Zihuatanejo is a small town, which nowadays still conserves the
typical physiognomy and the friendly atmosphere of the old fishing
village with that "True Mexican Flavor".
|
 |
|
The downtown streets are still cobblestones
paved and most of the constructions have that tropical-coastal
look (even some of the new ones, to help preserve the old town
appearance). There are many cozy restaurants, boutiques, jewerly
stores, bars, tourist markets, and much more.
You won't see any tall buildings (four stories maximum) because
they are not permitted by a City Law (the purpose is to conserve
the village look).
